Whether you’re gearing up for precision rifle competition or mastering barricade work, follow these simple instructions to achieve perfect balance for your rifle with MANAEL.
Pre-Installation:
- Read Instructions Twice: Familiarize yourself with the instructions by reading them thoroughly, twice.
- Prepare All Parts: Gather all necessary components, including the MANAEL Stackable Chassis Weights, screws (extended screws if stacking), Allen key, and Mlok nuts and screws.
- Prepare Chassis Foreend: You will need to access to the inside of your chassis foreend to mount the Mlok hardware.
Installing the MANAEL Stackable Chassis Weights to your rifle
- Place Weight on desired Section of Chassis.
- Align the Weight’s Mlok lock lugs with the Mlok slots on your chassis.
Note: Short weights will require 2 Mlok slots per weight. Long weights will require 4 Mlok slots. - Insert the mounting screw into the hole on the weight, so it protrudes through the chassis’ Mlok slot.
- Inside the chassis foreend, place the Mlok nut onto the screw and slot it into the Mlok slot.
- Using the Allen key, tighten the mounting screw into the Mlok slot until the weight is secure
- Repeat until all mounting screws are installed.
Stacking the MANAEL Chassis Weights
The MANAEL Stackable Chassis Weights have the unique feature of being stackable. You can mount several in a stack to widen your foreend or add extra weight.
The process is almost identical to standard install. You will need extended length stacking screws.
- Place your base layer of weights on the desired Section of Chassis.
- Align the Mlok lugs with the Chassis Mlok slots.
- Place the next layer / stack of weights on top of the desired section of base weights.
- Align the top weight’s Mlok lug nestles so it into the weight below and the mounting holes align.
- Insert an extended length mounting screw into the hole on the weights, so it protrudes through the chassis’ Mlok slot.
- Inside the chassis foreend, place the Mlok nut onto the screw and slot it into the Mlok slot.
- Using the Allen key, tighten the mounting screw into the Mlok slot until the weight is secure
- Repeat until all mounting screws are installed.
Test and Adjust:
- With the weights installed, test the balance and feel of your rifle
- Make any adjustments to achieve the desired balance and stability
Final Check:
- Conduct a final inspection to ensure all screws are securely tightened and the weights are firmly attached to the chassis.
- Ensure there are no obstructions to any moving parts of the rifle.
